Haworth with Chanel

In England we are very lucky to be surrounded by some beautiful places.

On Saturday we spent the afternoon in Haworth, which is situated in wonderful West Yorkshire and was once home to the famous Bronte family.  For those of you who have heard of or read novels such as 'Jane Eyre' and 'Wuthering Heights' as you stand in the midst of Haworth you can truly believe how the sisters were inspired to write.

Haworth has such an atmosphere that it screams history. and if you allow your imagination to play just a little, you can take yourself back to the days when Haworth was once buzzing with very different activities.

It is now a tourist hot spot and with its traditional pubs, quaint tea shops and vintage stores I understand why!

The parsonage where the Bronte family lived is now a museum  and Haworth railway station is part of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, which runs authentic preserved steam trains.
