And Today.....

Watch out people, Charliehearts was on her wheels today!

I have a tendancy to go on missions and for a while now I've had one about roller booting!

I can't even remember the last time I roller booted!

 Don't ask where that bright idea came from, I just woke up one morning and decided that it would be cool to go skating........So, in typical Charlie style my 'wheels' dream began.  I got hold of some boots (which then proceeded to be sat in my wardrobe for months) until today when I was brave enough to actually put them on and go out (and that means not just wearing them around the house, which I did the other week and totally freaked out the cat!)  The weather was perfect,  the whole afternoon was free, so it seemed as good as time as any, to dust the cobwebs from the skates.

It was so much fun.  There were no crashes or accidents and I avoided my biggest fear that was the possibility of last been seen rolling into the River Tejo!

I came home in one piece, though maybe with a blistered heel, which probably for the first time in a long time is totally unballet related!

Result!

My notes to myself for the next session are.....

Avoid any cobbles and uneven surface (I learnt the hard way as i careered through some pebbles!)

Tie hair back or skip the glossy lips! (Breeze+long hair+sticky lip gloss........)

and I'm set to go again, well when this blisters heeled anyways!
