Yesterday was a strange day.
Waking up to a terrible 'natural' disaster on the local news, is never really a way that you want to start your day. Having many friends that are in Japan, my immediate thoughts went to them and their families. At that moment, I was forever grateful to Facebook, that I could open my laptop, log into my page and send them messages or check to see if they'd updated their status. Thankfully, all were safe and well, and if you are reading this, all my love in the world goes to you right now :)
As I ran through the pouring rain in Portugal this lunch time, desperately aiming for the nearest point of shelter, I couldn't imagine how those people or anyone who has experienced something similar must have felt.
So quite a subdued post today, as I reflected on moments like these.
