Marbella Baby... Day 1

To celebrate one of my best friend's birthdays, eleven of us jetted off to Marbella for a long weekend.

This weekend was so special to me, as with my job I spend a lot of the time travelling and often miss important milestones in my friend's lives.  So to actually be able to go and celebrate with her meant a lot to me :)

We arrived late Thursday morning to a beautiful villa basking in glorious sunshine.

After acquainting ourselves with what would be our home for the next few days, we spent the rest of the afternoon laying in the sunshine and enjoying our pool.

It had been a long day on little sleep, so in the evening we decided to head into Marbella to enjoy a 'quiet' dinner and save the partying and celebrations for the following night!

We'd arrived safe and sound and I was looking forward to the weekend's festivities!
