Bun To Brogues

Finally a light breeze, shining sun and my Uggs back in the wardrobe.

Monday is a day off, so after a much needed lie in (or as long as a three year old will give you!) I had chance to reevaluate my outfit for the day and wear a new Spring feeling!  To say I have such a love of fashion and enjoy to experiment with new looks, these last few weeks I've ended up in such a style rut of throwing on jeans, Uggs and whatever tshirt I find first......

Hopefully the new fresh days we are awakening to everyday will inspire me....

A necklace that will always make me smile..... a gift from a friend who I miss dearly...

Welcome to my ice rink!!

                         OUCH!!!

I must be my own little comedy act walking to work. I either seem to walk like a pony, bending each knee up as I step and firmly planting my foot to the ground or I take the 'shuffle' approach or just to heck with it all and I basically skid and slide. The pavements are treacherous at the moment and I feel like I take my life (or more likely my profession!) into my own hands every time I step out of the door.

Those who know me well, will be well aware of my love with ice skating, but this is taking it a step (or a slide to far).  

Actually that's an idea - maybe I'll just go and invest in some ice skates and skate to work!!!

A 'Snow' Lot Of Fun...

It would be a shame to let all of the snow go to waste, so yesterday we utilised our day off with with an afternoon sledging!  What a fashion statement though..... a far cry from my usual morning routine of playing dress up before I leave the house, all I could think this morning was that I was desperate to stay warm!

Layering myself up, we went in search of some 'hills', and after overcoming my initial fear of letting myself speed down the side of a mountain (only a slight exaggeration)!! I got more and more daring..... after all it is a while since sledging was a part of my life!!!

The weather was perfect.  One of those days where the ground is covered in thick snow, but the sun shines so brightly that it glistens in the flakes.

It was definitely a free day put to good use :)

Most importantly though only one little bruise and still totally intact to be back in work today!

Oh Chanel.....

Ohhhh, to have a different piece of Chanel arm candy for each day of the week....

I am ever so slightly obsessed and wish my bank balance would live up to the price tags..... That isn't going to happen anytime soon, so for now I can dream and share with you the Chanel Paris - Bombay Show 2011/12 that took place on December 6th '11 at the Grand Palais, Paris.

Jealous ???  ME???? Nooooooo!!!

This is dedicated to my dear friend Cha..... to whom I know will be totally with me on the love of Chanel!
