As August Leaves...

With August about to leave us, the weather reflects the change of months.... One day it shines and the next it rains - it's kind of hard to keep up with these moods!!

After an eight week summer holiday, the start of our ballet season is inevitably 'hard'..... It's time to get the body back into its 'unnatural' ways, of twists, turns and face the odd stumble and tumble!!!  I enjoy the challenge of testing my strengths, though often frustrated with my weaknesses, I feel positive about our companies new season ahead :)

Is it 'correct' for me to say that I can have a bit of a love/hate relationship with my ballet?

Yesterday I had a hate day

Today I was in love!

If only it was just a case of looking pretty and twirling around a grand stage!!!!

The strive to perfection that we battle with every day can get intense.  For all of these years I've tried to train myself to 'get over' the frustrating times!  I'm still trying to 'teach' myself, but I'm getting there!!!  Probably by the time I actually get to that point it'll be my time to retire! 

 But then I think to myself that obviously that is the time to retire as you no longer have to strive for something!

It's an ongoing battle!

I can't imagine to not get up in morning and dance. 

 It's been my life since I was a child and it's as normal to me as sleeping, eating and living.....

Well they do say that there is a very thin line between love and hate!!!!

Rock And Doll Dreams...

The weekends go soooooo fast.....

Before you know it, it's Monday again and a whole new fresh week......

Finally untangled!!!!

With travelling around alot (and of course my want to cart everything but the sink with me), my poor jewellery can not enjoy it at all.

My obsession with skull jewellery runs deep (one day I'll photograph all my stuff, i promise!) 

This is one of the first pieces i ever owned..... So imagine my disdain when i retrieved the poor blighter from my suitcase in a total tangled state :(

But after many pain staking hours it is now back to how it once was and where it should be...... 

Around my neck!!!!

I really need to figure a new way to carry my necklaces when i travel.

Wearing them all certainly isn't an option as I'd send the security machines into overdrive! 

 :)
