| An Autumnal Lisboa |
Any excuse to have a wander around the shops, i don't really need much persuading!
Today i had a couple of hours to spare before a meeting, so what the heck i went for a meander down Avenida da Liberdade.A delicious road to stumble across i tell u!
The 1.3 km long avenue is one of my favourite streets in Lisbon and that's not because of the array of designer shops but because of the leafy trees that line it from top to bottom! Laid out as a public walkway in 1882, it ends at the busy, landmark roundabout named Praca Marques de Pombal. It's especially lovely at Christmas, when it's decorated with huge colourful baubles that light up the lines of palm trees :)
Lisbon almost always boasts blue skies and today was no exception, mixed with Autumn leaves and Louis Vuitton.........enough to warm any girlies heart xxxxxxx
