The Event!

Since I started my blog at the end of 2010, I've met some wonderful people along the way.
I've discovered that some people blog very personally, whilst others stay anonymous.....
I try to keep mine quite neutral.

I'm not all about dance and clothes and today being an important day in my 'life' I wanted to share a personal photo from a very amazing part of my life.

Two years ago I met a person who was about to change my life forever.

Deep down I've always known that I wanted children, but having a career as a ballerina I never quite knew when that would be exactly!

I've lived my life selfishly through my career, ever since I remember.....  Whilst friends in their early twenties still considered what they would do with their future, I had had a career since I had received my first paycheck when I was nine!  Though it was a pittance, I was being paid to do something that I loved!

A dancer's career can be short.... and I often felt that there were too many things that I wanted to achieve in such a short space of time.   As you never can be sure when it will end..... Meaning through personal choice or injury.
One of my aims was to have a family, the other was to dance for as long as I could physically and possibly could?????

So two years ago as I stood in the hallway in a puddle,  my life was about to become complete.....

I thought that ballet was the love of my life......
but the journey I was about to begin was set to blow me away......

Enjoy life to the full.....

Love Charlie

That was so inspiring to read. :) Even though I'm still too young, I also think a great deal about putting my career first and then thinking of bringing up a family, but I think you made the right choice. :)

Love this post! It is in fact quite personal... You look beautiful on those photos!
My baby bump is growing everyday, and yes, i am also putting my career aside. But whatever!
You have inspired me to take good photos too... not sure whether i'll be brave enough to share;) but at least for memory!
