Just a calm Monday.....

I absolutely adore to live in the area in which i do of Lisbon.  It's so rich in character and life that i feel totally nourished every day.

Behind every nook and around every corner, there is just 'something' to be discovered and it makes you feel alive!

It's mish mash of buildings sandwiched together in an array of different, colours and shapes, line the swirly streets in a higgledy piggledy fashion.  

Even a roof of broken tiles can look so enchanting under the Lisbon sky....

I can't believe that i never knew about this cafe/restaurant pictured above.  

Hidden under a look out point i wish we'd had time to sit and really take it all in..... 

but there's always tomorrow ;)

After the rains and winds that Lisbon has had, today she finally seemed at peace with herself and there was such a calm and reassuring atmosphere in the sky.

  Almost as though somebody was telling me that all will be well.

In my beloved 'Topshop' coat, that has been worn with such love throughout these cold months and I'm sure has many more days/months/years ahead of it. Teamed with a fave pair of 'Pull and Bear' jeans (they fit me so well from that store!!!) and a battered pair of skull trainers, that have got better with age!

  Oh and i almost forgot my bag from 'Primark', that looks a million dollars and probably only cost about ten!  I swear it's like a Mary Poppins bag, I'm sure i could fit the kitchen sink and the bedroom lamp in there!!!
